Knitting in two generations

Busy bee

Dear Mom,

I've been a busy bee lately. Not knitting much though :o(

I've had 2 oral exams (got 11 and 9), had 1 exam cancelled because the censor didn't show up (!), been to a wedding, a christening, a party for Daniels cousin who passed her A-levels, stayed a night in Sweden and read 4 books (Liza Marklund "Nobel's Testament", Sophie Kinsella "Shopaholic and Baby", Leslie Schwartz "At overleve helvede" and Ted L. Nancy "More letters from a nut").

In between I did manage to finish a pair of socks:

Tomorrow I'm going to my final oral exam - the one that got cancelled. I really hate Copehagen Business School for planning the exam for tomorrow, because I was invited to a reunion party at my old primary and lower secondary school. But my old school is 5-6 hours away and now I can't make it because of the stupid exam...grrrrr.

Penobscot and 42 cows

Dear Mom,

It was great seeing you and dad on Sunday. I can't wait until you move over here :o)

I finished the Penobscot Silk Scarf yesterday. I had one skein of Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock (color: envy) and got inspired here and here. It's a great project when you haven't got that much yarn and the result is stunning...and it's a quick knit too.

Right now I'm preparing for my exam on Wednesday...I'm sick and tired of all these exams...and I still have 3 left...*sigh*
