Dear Mom,
I've finished the Chevron Scarf and I totally love the colours...I'm a pink kinda girl *lol*

The facts
Pattern: Chevron Scarf from the book "Last Minute Knitted Gifts"
Yarn: Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock Multi - Valentine and Tickled Pink
Since the Danish weather sucks I've been indoors a lot - knitting, reading and watching Tour de France. I must admit that the last one is turning into more of a soap opera than a sports event *shaking head*. Michael Rasmussen, who had the yellow jersey, was kicked out of the race and fired from his team today. Rules are rules, and apparently Rasmussen has broken a lot of rules lately, so in that context it's totally fair that he's been abandoned from the race. However, it's a shame for the race and I find it hard to believe that cycling will ever become a clean sport.
At the moment I'm reading "Brother Odd" by Dean Koontz and even though I haven't finished it yet, I will warmly recommend the whole "Odd Thomas" series to anybody who likes a good story.
Happy cycling,
Randi

wow! that is just fantastic! It is on my list, but I just haven't figured out what colors to use yet.
